Hey everyone! I recently backed up my iPhone photos to a SanDisk flash drive using a lightning connector. However, all the files I see are PHAsset files. Can anyone help me figure out how to convert these PHAsset files to JPG? I'd really appreciate it, thanks!

Why? Why does crap like this happen??!! I'm trying to get over 4000 pictures with videos over to my computer from my iphone. At first I was elated because all the photos and videos came over fine using the Sandisk product. Now, I look at them tonight and they are turned into PHAsset stuff. I am so tired of the tweaking, and yinging when they should be yanging, playing around with what already works, ruining my life with this crap of photos I can't save from my phone to my computer without having a PHD. I swear, if I ever get rich, I will sue every single computer company, phone company, computer apps, programs, sites, you name it, for the severe mental anguish they have put me through since 2009!!!!
PHAsset files are a bit tricky since they contain metadata rather than the actual photos. They essentially point to where your images are stored, but they're not the images themselves. You might want to check out the SanDisk support page for more info on how their processor handles backups.

Thanks! So what I'm gathering from your response is that I'm not actually seeing my photos, just the information about them?
