Hey everyone! So, I've been having this debate with my mom about 5G technology. On the way to high school with my mom and my sisters (my older sister is 19 and my younger sister is 11), my mom started saying that the rise in cancer cases is due to all the 5G antennas popping up everywhere. I tried my best to explain the science behind electromagnetic waves and mobile networks, but it just turned into a heated argument. I really want to help them understand that 5G technology isn't something we need to fear or stress about. Any thoughts on how I can effectively communicate this to my family?

There's actually a lot of peer-reviewed research showing that low strength RF (radio frequency) from things like cell towers is pretty harmless to humans. If you spend a few minutes looking, you can find some solid studies. The trick is getting your mom to be open-minded enough to listen to the science behind it.
Don't forget, cancers were around long before 5G technology came into play. It's important to highlight that correlation doesn't mean causation.
Yeah, I brought that up, too, but it didn't really change her mind.
