Hey everyone! I'm new to programming and learning through YouTube videos. I stumbled upon a chat program from StreamElements that I find really interesting, but I can't afford to buy it. I've been trying to create something similar on my own for about a week, but I'm not making much progress and it's not turning out the way I hoped. I'd really appreciate any tips or resources that could help me out! Thanks, and sorry if my English isn't perfect, I'm using a translator!

I get where you’re coming from! Learning programming through YouTube can actually be a good way to start, even if some people are skeptical about it. Just make sure to practice what you watch and don’t get discouraged! Maybe check out some open-source projects related to chat bots. That way, you can see how they’re structured and learn from them. There are plenty of free resources out there! Good luck!
Definitely link to the specific StreamElements program you're talking about during your posts. It makes it easier for people to help you out. Searching for open-source plugins might be a great idea! There’s a lot of free code available online that you can examine and adapt. Don't hesitate to ask more questions as you go along!
