I'm looking for a way to use WhatsApp without the built-in AI features. Since there's no option to disable the AI assistant, I'm considering using an external app or software that lets me receive and respond to messages—text, documents, voice messages, etc.—while keeping the basic functionalities I need. I don't need features like calling or viewing others' statuses. I tried using n8n, but it was tough to set up for what I'm aiming for, plus I want to retain most WhatsApp features except for a few little ones. I prefer to stick to reliable sources, especially if they involve third-party apps. Does anyone have any suggestions or ideas on how I could achieve this? I'm using a Samsung phone.

You might want to consider just sticking with the app as is and ignore the AI assistant. It could be easier than trying to create a custom solution. Just a thought!
AI features? I didn't even know they had those. I thought it was just a straightforward chat app!
Yeah, I never used the AI part either. I only keep it for messaging family and friends.
Creating a custom solution could be challenging, and it might be against WhatsApp’s terms of service. They could suspend your account for that. Also, they constantly update things which could break your custom setup frequently. Just something to keep in mind!
Any options that wouldn't violate their terms?

I can't do that because of personal reasons, unfortunately.
