Hi everyone! I'm on Windows 11 and I'm having trouble enabling Memory Integrity in Windows Defender because of a file named GEARAspiWDM.sys. I've already uninstalled iTunes and removed my CD Rom Drive from Device Manager, but I can't delete it even through Command Prompt—I'm getting an access denied error. I'm starting to worry that this file might be a virus. If anyone knows a reliable way to remove it, I'd really appreciate your help! Thanks!

Remember that making changes to system files can be risky, especially if you're adjusting BIOS settings or disk setups. Just ensure you have backups of your data before proceeding.
It sounds like GEARAspiWDM.sys might be causing the issue. One approach is to boot your computer into safe mode, where you can take ownership of the file. Once you do that, you should be able to delete it from "C:WindowsSystem32drivers". This is a common method for stubborn files. Good luck!
You can also try looking for that file in the same directory, "C:WindowsSystem32drivers". Just booting into safe mode is key—then you can take ownership of it and delete it. That should help free up your Memory Integrity settings! Let me know how it goes.
