I've had my PC for a while now, and I'm looking to upgrade my storage, but I have no idea where to start. I know my setup is a pre-built MXZ model, but I'm struggling to find detailed information about the parts on PCPartPicker to check for compatibility because both the case and power supply are branded MXZ. Any advice on how to figure out what type of storage I can add?

Definitely check for your motherboard model first. If you have an M.2 SSD type, you should look for free slots on the motherboard. Most likely, your motherboard manual will tell you what type of slots are available. If you don’t have the manual, you might find the info online!
The key to knowing what storage you can add is to check your motherboard. It dictates what types of drives are compatible. If you can find out the model of your motherboard, we'll be able to help you more specifically. Also, what storage drives do you currently have in your PC?
You probably have some connections on your motherboard for additional SATA SSDs or hard drives. Make sure you also have an extra SATA power cable from your power supply. It sounds like you’ve got an M.2 slot if you're seeing "Crucial P3 Plus PCIe 4.0 M.2 2280." That’s a good sign! Just check your motherboard for any open SATA slots, they should be labeled as SATA_1, etc.
