How Can I Disable AI Mode in My Google Search Bar Widget?

I noticed that my Google search bar is now automatically launching into 'AI mode,' which is super frustrating because I just want to use the traditional search bar. This started happening today, and I've looked through the settings but can't find an option to turn it off. I'd really like to get my regular search bar back. Is there a way to revert this change?

Same here! It’s really annoying, and I started dealing with it today as well. Just a heads up, one workaround could be deleting the widget and re-adding it; I read that helped someone else.

It sounds like you're running into a new feature that might not have an immediate disable option yet. I’ve seen the 'AI mode' pop up, but it hasn't affected my traditional searching on Chrome or Google.com. Posting a screenshot might help others figure out exactly what you've got going on.

Another option is to uninstall Google and try out the Samsung Internet search bar instead. You can set StartPage as your default search engine for normal searches without AI clutter.

You’re definitely not alone in this frustration! I’ve been experiencing the same thing since today. It’d be great if they just gave us the classic search option while keeping AI mode available as an extra. I hope there’s a fix for this soon!
