How Can I Download a PDF from an App That Won’t Let Me?

I'm trying to figure out how to download a PDF that's within an application that seems to block downloads. Unfortunately, there's no web version of the app, as it's available only on mobile and PC. I noticed it has the Adobe PDF icon on my textbooks, but I'm not sure how to extract the PDF to my PC. Any advice would be appreciated!

You could also consider printing to PDF or, if all else fails, taking screenshots of the document. This can be a workaround if you really need the info.

Many times, strong DRM in PDFs helps keep them secure, meaning they aren't meant to be downloaded or saved locally. If that’s the case, you could try taking screenshots of the content instead.

Keep in mind that if the app doesn't let you download the PDF, it might be against their rules to do so, especially if it contains sensitive or paid content. It's likely there for a reason, like course material that shouldn’t be shared.

If the app allows printing, you might be able to use the "print to PDF" feature in Windows. This option lets you save a PDF version of the document instead of printing it physically. Just choose the option from the print menu if it's available.
