I'm having some trouble editing a PDF document that I need to fill out. I found a form on a website that says it's supposed to be fillable electronically, but whenever I open it, I can't edit it. I've edited other PDFs before, so I'm not sure what's going wrong this time. Any suggestions on how I can make changes to this specific document?

Yeah, it seems like the PDF wasn't set up to be fillable. There are some free PDF readers and editors that allow you to add text boxes where you want to type. Once you’ve added your info, you can save a new version of it. Just a heads up, there are also converters out there that can turn PDFs into editable formats, but they often aren't very reliable unless you want to pay for good software. Formatting can be tricky, too.
This form doesn't seem fillable at all. However, if you open it in the Edge browser, you can use the text box feature to fill it in somewhat. For checkboxes, just create a text box and type 'X' in it. Once you’re done, just save or download the file, and it should keep what you added.
Have you tried using PDFGear? It's a decent tool that might help you out.
You might want to check out fillapdf.com. It can automatically find the fields in the PDF you upload, and then you can download it once you've filled everything in.
It looks like that PDF isn't actually fillable. You could print it out and fill it out by hand if you don’t have the right software. If you're looking for a program, I usually go with Adobe Acrobat, but it can be pricey. Handwriting might be your best bet if you don't want to spend money.
