How can I factory reset my Windows 10 laptop when I’m out of space?

I'm trying to factory reset my Windows 10 laptop, but it keeps giving me an error saying there's not enough free space. I've deleted almost everything I could think of, but it still won't work. The only other resource I have is a USB drive along with another PC. Is there a way to do a factory reset or clean install from there? Thanks!

You should boot from the USB drive that contains the installation software. When you do that, you can delete the existing partitions and create a new one to install Windows fresh. This should get around the space issue you're encountering.

Just a heads-up, the built-in factory reset can be pretty unreliable and often causes more problems than it solves. I recommend doing a clean install instead. Oh, and don't forget to download your laptop's LAN/WiFi drivers before starting the clean install!

Wait, so you mean I should download the drivers first before resetting? Thanks for the tip!

Yeah, definitely! It'll save you a headache later trying to connect to the internet post-install.
