How Can I Find a Community for Female Programmers?

I'm new to programming and just completed a MERN stack certification from Persevere while I was incarcerated. I've managed to learn coding without internet access and without using AI tools! Being a female in tech, I know we're underrepresented, so I'm looking for tips on what to do next. I want to build or join a community for women in programming. Any advice or resources would be really appreciated!

Congrats on your certification! Freecodecamp offers free certifications online too, which might be helpful for you. I’m currently halfway through the front-end developer course there! It's a great resource for building skills and community.

Great job on your achievement! Getting certs and coding without AI is no small feat. If you're interested in further studies, check out Perimeter College in Atlanta. They offer online classes for $100 per credit, plus you can test out of gen eds for free! You might end up with a 2-year degree in CS, which can help you transition to a 4-year program later.

You can check out Women Who Code. They have a lot of resources and events for women in tech!
