How Can I Find Out If My School Computer Is Monitored?

I recently received a school-issued computer to replace my old one, which unfortunately got bricked. This new machine appears to be a reset version of Windows 11 Pro, but I'm wondering if it's being monitored at all. I have some personal documents related to work and my passport that I need to handle, and I really don't want the school getting access to that information. The computer just shows 'USER' and 'local admin,' leading me to believe it was factory reset for each student. Any tips on how I can check if this computer is being supervised or monitored would be appreciated!

If it's a school computer, it's likely monitored. Most schools track usage for asset management and compliance reasons. You might want to check with your school's IT department for details on what they monitor.

I get that, but is there a way to check if there are any monitoring tools installed?
