My dad's Canon iP110 printer is acting up; it pulls the paper through and sounds like it's printing, but the pages come out blank. I've tried the print head cleaning by holding down the resume/cancel button until the power light flashes, and also printed a test sheet after letting go at two blinks. The ink cartridges seem to have ink, but I'm wondering if the print heads might be dried out or clogged. I've had mixed results trying to clean print heads with alcohol in the past, so I'm hesitant to try that here. Any ideas or suggestions would be really appreciated! Thanks in advance!

Have you tried performing a self-test on the printer? It can help determine if the hardware is functioning properly. You can find instructions in the printer manual. Here's a link that could help you out: [Canon iP110 Maintenance Guide](https://ij.manual.canon/ij/webmanual/Manual/W/iP110%20series/EN/BG/bg-maintenance1200.html).
It sounds like your dad's printer may need new ink cartridges, especially if it hasn’t been used often. I’ve had a similar issue with my Canon Pixma, even when the software says there's still ink left. Sometimes, the ink just dries up. Also, if you replace the cartridges, I'd recommend sticking to genuine ones; third-party cartridges can lead to more problems down the line.
I checked the ink and it's still good—spilled some on paper, and it bled. But even with low ink, I’d expect to see something on the page, not just total blanks. I'm starting to think the print heads could be the issue.

I already did the self-test, and that didn’t help either. It's in my original post.
