How Can I Fix My Framerate Issues with 1% Lows?

I've been experiencing some serious 1% lows during my gaming sessions, where the framerate drops to around 0-5 FPS and doesn't really recover. My PC specs are an RTX 4060 Ti, Intel Core i5-13400F, and 32GB of DDR4 RAM at 3200 MT/s with XMP enabled. I've ensured my drivers are up to date and even did a clean reinstall. Any ideas on how to improve this?

Thanks for the tips! I’ll give that a shot and see if it helps.

Definitely check to see if you have Resizable BAR enabled in your BIOS. You can also use Nvidia Profile Inspector to tweak things a bit. Make sure it's set for both your global profile and the specific games you're playing. Also, try to minimize what’s running in the background to free up CPU cycles.

What games are you playing and at what resolution? Also, do you have the 8GB or the 16GB version of the 4060 Ti? If everything else is set up correctly, it sounds like you might be running into VRAM limitations.
