I recently reset my Windows due to a separate issue with my disk. Unfortunately, ever since the reset, my laptop's network adapter has stopped working completely. I can't even sign in to Windows because it claims I'm not connected to the internet, and there's no option to set up WiFi. I've checked the BIOS settings and everything seems fine; I'm hoping someone here can suggest a way to get my network adapter working again. Just to mention, I have a Dell laptop.

Did you do a fresh install of Windows 11? It sounds like you're missing the WiFi driver. Like previously mentioned, a USB wireless dongle could be a good investment. Make sure to get one that supports dual-band for better performance. I can provide a link for one that could help you out!
You might want to consider getting a USB WiFi dongle or even a USB Ethernet dongle if you don’t have one. This could help you restore your adapter drivers while bypassing the connection issue.
That's a good idea, thanks!
You typically shouldn't need a network connection to start up Windows. If you're on Windows 11, you can create a local account by going to Start > Settings > Accounts > Family & other users, select "Add account," then choose "I don't have this person's sign-in information" and "Add a user without a Microsoft account." There are also shortcuts that let you bypass the network connection step if needed.
If you're stuck at the sign-in menu and can't access settings, that complicates things a bit. Have you tried any of the suggested methods to create a local account? Sometimes, the Shift + F10 shortcut works to bring up a command prompt during setup, but if that didn’t work, you might be in a bit of a bind.

I think this is what I'll have to do. I really messed up somewhere, haha. I just wanted to put music on my Walkman!
