How can I fix my monitor’s resolution issues in Windows 11?

I'm trying to connect my Samsung monitor, which supports a resolution of 1440x900, to my PC. However, all I see are options for 16:9 resolutions, like 1920x1080 and 1280x720. What steps can I take to resolve this issue? I'm using an Nvidia Geforce RTX 3060 as my graphics adapter.

Don’t forget to look into your Windows display settings! There are various options available there that might help you adjust the resolution easily.

Actually, I figured it out on my own! It turned out to just be a matter of tweaking some settings I missed before. I'll share what I did because it might help someone else out.

You should check out the Nvidia Control Panel. It has an option to create a custom resolution, which should allow you to set your monitor to the correct 1440x900 setting.
