I recently got a second-hand 24e4 monitor from KOORUI to set up a dual-screen workstation. While it looked fine physically, the performance is disappointing compared to my Acer Predator monitor. The colors seem washed out and everything looks gray rather than vibrant, making it difficult to use. I've tried using an HDMI cable with 120Hz capabilities (since my RTX 2070 only has one DisplayPort), but that didn't help either. I also connected it using DisplayPort directly, but the dullness persists. I attempted to adjust the monitor's color settings without success. Does anyone have suggestions on what to do next? I could share pictures if needed, but I'm not sure if they will capture the issue accurately.

It's common for budget monitors to need a bit of calibration to be usable. Try lowering the brightness and increasing the contrast; focus on making blacks look truly black before tweaking colors. If your monitor has a black stabilizer setting or something similar turned up, that could contribute to the washed-out look as well. Give that a shot!

I tried that, but now I'm getting bad ghosting issues. Scrolling through webpages looks awful, like the text is almost unreadable. At least the colors are a bit better after tweaking.
