I came here looking for help because my Xbox 360 controller used to work on my PC, but now it's stopped functioning—likely after a recent update. I've spent hours trying to get support from Microsoft with no luck, so I'm hoping someone here can help out. I've downloaded the 360 controller driver myself, but I can't seem to find it in the drivers section, and nothing I try seems to work. I've plugged and unplugged it multiple times and tried various methods without any success. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Hey! It sounds like you might need a receiver for your Xbox 360 controller since it's essential for it to connect to your PC. You should be able to find one online, pretty cheap on sites like Amazon or Aliexpress. That might be your first step back to getting it working again!
Also, don’t forget you might need to manually update the driver once you have the receiver connected. Sometimes it shows up as an unknown device. You just right-click on it, go to properties, click on drivers, and then update. Look for the Xbox Peripherals option at the bottom of the list!
