How can I fix the “bad shim signature/load the kernel first” error after installing Bazzite?

I just tried to install Bazzite and now I'm stuck with a "bad shim signature/load the kernel first" error after rebooting. I came across a comment suggesting that I need to disable secure boot, but I'm not sure how to do that. When I looked for instructions, I only found details on how to set up secure boot instead. Can someone explain what went wrong and how I can resolve this issue? This is my first time using Linux.

To disable secure boot, head into your BIOS settings. You usually do this by pressing a specific key like F2 or Delete right when your computer is starting up. Once you're in the BIOS, look for the secure boot option under the security or boot tab. You can always enable it again after you finish the installation and sign the kernel if needed.

Thanks for that! But how exactly do I access the BIOS? Every time I hit F2, it just takes me to the GRUB screen instead.
