I found an old monitor in my attic and set it up to play on my PS5. Unfortunately, there's a yellow hue on the screen. I'm looking for advice on how to fix this issue—any suggestions?

Honestly, in my opinion, it's probably time to let this monitor go. It's better to invest in a new one than deal with this old tech.

Have you checked the monitor settings for something like "Eye Shield"? That could be causing the yellow tint to reduce eye strain. Make sure to go through the display settings.

It would really help if you could share a picture of the monitor! That way, we can take a better look at what's going on.

Based on what I'm seeing, that yellow tint could be due to internal panel damage from storage. While some people suggested it might be an eye shield issue, that usually affects the whole screen, not just a section. You might want to try connecting it with different HDMI or AV cables, but don’t get your hopes up—it’s probably more serious.
