How can I free up storage space on my laptop?

I'm looking for advice on how to clear up space on my laptop. I have a VICTUS with 475 GB of total storage, but 396 GB is used up. Most of that (336 GB) seems to be for installed apps. The largest app I have is Minecraft, which only takes up 1.63 GB, so I'm unsure what else is consuming so much space. I really want to see which files are taking up the most storage so I can remove anything unnecessary. Any suggestions would be appreciated!

You might want to check out larger drives as well. If you've already got some files you can't account for, it might mean other apps are using space without reporting it properly to Windows. Getting a bigger drive could save you from the headaches of managing a tight storage situation.

It sounds like you have temporary files and system files (like swap files and hibernation files) that are eating up your space. This happens a lot, and if you’re constantly running low on space, it might be time to upgrade your storage. I started with a smaller drive too and found it easier to just get a larger one after a while!

Yeah, I had to do the same. Upgrading to a bigger SSD solved my problems!

Have you tried running HomeDev's Patch Cleaner? It's a quick download and can clear some extra space. Additionally, checking with TreeSize Free can show what folders are taking up large amounts of space, so you can manage files better.

You should consider using a disk cleanup tool. Windows has a built-in utility for cleaning up files, but there are also third-party programs like WizTree that can help you find out what's hogging space. It'll show you all the files and folders on your PC along with their sizes, making it easier to identify what's taking up the most room.

Definitely check out WizTree! It gives you a clear view of where your storage is being used, which can be super helpful.
