I'm having issues with the built-in Bluetooth capability on my PC. It's really slow and stops receiving input after a short period. To resolve this, I bought a USB Bluetooth adapter, but I can't install its driver because the original driver is still there. Even disabling the original driver doesn't help, as the PC just reinstalls it if I try to remove it. I'm using Windows 11 and don't have the option to disable automatic reinstall in my BIOS. I found a similar post from a year ago, but it didn't offer any solid solutions. Any advice?

Have you checked if the manufacturer's website for your new Bluetooth adapter has support info? They might have specific instructions on completely removing the old driver to allow the new one to install properly.
In Device Manager, right-click on the existing Bluetooth adapter and choose 'Disable.' That might stop Windows from reinstalling the driver when you try to remove it.
You might want to check your motherboard settings again. There’s usually a BIOS setting that lets you disable Bluetooth. It could help prevent Windows from automatically reinstalling the driver.
Go to Device Manager, find your Bluetooth device, and then check its properties. Under the driver tab, you should see its file location. Try to manually delete the driver files from there after disabling it, but be careful as that can affect system stability.
