I took a break from coding for a while, and although I still recall most of what I learned, I'm struggling to get back into it because I don't have a specific goal in mind. I enjoy coding and problem-solving, but I find it hard to stay focused for hours, especially with the current bootcamps that feel dull. The advice to "just build stuff" doesn't help me much since I'm unsure of what to build, which contributed to my quitting in the first place. Additionally, I was put off by the negative atmosphere and the influx of clickbait AI content — everything felt too corporate. I know coding can be fun if you have a clear direction, but I lack that clarity right now.

How about starting small, like creating a fun little website? Just make something easy with HTML and CSS. Since you already have a grasp on those, it might help you dip your toes back in and reignite that spark.

That sounds like a great idea! I know HTML and CSS pretty well, and JavaScript seems easy to pick up too. Diving into a small project could show me if I really enjoy coding again.
