How Can I Get ChatGPT to Sort My Notes Without Messing Them Up?

I'm trying to use ChatGPT to organize a large collection of my content creation notes that include links. Ideally, I want it to convert my long, messy URLs into short and neat references, like 'Example Twitter link', and categorize everything into sections such as 'TikTok Cosplay Ideas' and 'YouTube Video Ideas'. However, I keep facing issues where ChatGPT is generating new content ideas instead of just returning my organized notes. Despite my instructions not to delete anything, it often removes about 50% of my notes, and it's driving me crazy! Does anyone have suggestions on how to make this work?

You might want to try creating a Python script to handle the sorting instead; it can be more reliable than ChatGPT for specific tasks like this. GPT tends to make mistakes when it comes to detailed instructions.

Yeah, and if you decide to stick with ChatGPT, consider breaking up your notes into smaller snippets instead of throwing everything in at once. That way, it’s easier for the model to process without losing parts.
