I'm experiencing a frustrating issue with my Fedora setup on a Lenovo laptop where it wakes up every time I close the lid. I've updated everything to the latest version of Fedora, and I've already set the power settings to do nothing when the lid is closed. I want my laptop to stay asleep if I put it to sleep with the lid open and then close the lid. I've also edited the logind.conf file to set HandleLidSwitch to 'ignore,' but I still end up in a login loop after restarting the service. I've considered other devices that might be enabled to wake the system, but I want to ensure that I can still wake it up with the power button or a key press. I've looked extensively for a solution but only found workarounds. Does anyone have a proper fix?

Have you checked the sleep.conf file? Sometimes, it can conflict with your other settings. You could try changing the AllowSuspend option to 'yes' if it's commented out. Looks like it could be worth a shot!

Thanks for the tip! I looked into it, but after making the change and restarting, there was still no difference. It woke up again when I closed the lid.
