How Can I Get Help with My Locked iPhone SE from Raymond West?

Hey everyone! I'm in a bit of a jam. I've been using an iPhone SE (2020) for about three years now, and it was a gift. Recently, after a factory reset, it got stuck on the 'Remote Management' screen for a company called Raymond West. I've reached out to their IT support and opened a ticket (#INC-664031), but it's been a few days without any response from them. Since this is my only phone, I'm not looking for a bypass or anything—just hoping someone from their team might help me get it unlocked. Any recommendations on how I can speed up their response?

Just so you know, the only way to resolve this is for them to release it from their MDM. It’s possible the phone wasn’t actually gifted with permission from the company, so it might take some time to sort out. Also, double-check if it was bought legitimately.

I totally understand, but I’ve used this phone for years. Just trying to figure out my options.

Who actually gave you the phone? If it’s from Raymond West, there’s a chance it could be an old company phone that wasn't properly released. If I were the IT department, I wouldn’t help either if I thought it was missing or stolen. Might want to start looking for a new device just in case.

It sounds like your device is registered under Apple Business Manager. After a reset, it tries to 'call home' to the original owner, which is probably why you’re seeing this issue. Unfortunately, the only path forward is for them to remove it from their system.

As someone in the recycling industry, I doubt they’ll release it. iPhones can still function with MDM, but you might be stuck with this one. It’s likely it was sold without proper clearance after it was supposed to be destroyed. Good luck, but manage your expectations!

Have you tried giving them a call? Sometimes just speaking to someone directly can speed things up. If you don’t have their phone number yet, maybe look it up online to give it a shot.
