I'm trying to increase the vCPUs for my EC2 instance, but my request was rejected. I want to specifically use an instance with a graphics card, and I have a paid account. Can anyone help me figure out the best way to get this done?

They're pretty strict about giving GPU quotas, so you might have to file a case with AWS support to get a higher limit.
When you say your request was rejected, what error did you get? Sometimes you may need to replace the instance instead of just upgrading it. Also, dedicated GPU instances tend to be in high demand and can be costly, so consider checking a different region.
Keep in mind, AWS takes into account how long your account's been active and if you’ve paid your bills on time. If you're a newer account, it could be tough getting GPU vCPU quotas raised. The successful approach I've used includes making the vCPU request again which opens a support ticket, then writing a clear use case for why you need the increase. Be specific; mention any AWS services you're using that require GPUs to help your case.
You'll need to check your service quotas. Go to your Quotas page and make sure your limits are set for the instance type you're requesting—especially for GPU instances. You might want to confirm that the quotas for running On-Demand G and VT instances are above zero.
