Hey everyone! So, something weird happened while I was hiking yesterday—my phone screen accidentally got touched in my pocket and it deleted a couple of app icons from my home screen. The apps are still installed, but I can't find the icons on the screen and it's super frustrating! I have to go into the settings and manage my apps to find them every time. Does anyone know how I can get those icons back on my home screen? I use those apps daily, and this is driving me nuts!

What model do you have? For most Android phones, just swipe up to open the app drawer, find the app, and long press to create a shortcut on your home screen.

Check your app drawer! If the apps are there, you can drag them back to your home screen. If they’re not showing, go to your settings menu, look for a section that manages hidden apps, and make sure those apps are unhidden.

You should start from the app drawer. On most Androids, you swipe up from the bottom to access all your apps. Just long press on the app you want to move, and then drag it to your home screen!

Could you give me a detailed guide? I even tried reinstalling them, but no luck with the icons showing up.

I have a Samsung Galaxy too. The icons usually pop up, but if they’re not this time, go to settings, find your app, and then click 'open' from there. It’s a hassle, but I hope they reappear soon!
