I went to visit my grandpa yesterday, and he mentioned that he's been getting annoying ads on his phone's lock screen. It's ridiculous that we have to deal with ads like this! I tried to help him get rid of them, but I wasn't successful. Can anyone share some tips or steps to take? He's using a Samsung Android phone with Metro by T-Mobile. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

It sounds like he might have installed something he shouldn’t have. Check the list of installed apps, sort them by date added, and see if there's anything suspicious that can be uninstalled. That usually helps with random ads.

I was worried about that too, but he claims he hasn’t downloaded anything new recently. So, if ads are popping up, it has to be an app causing it, right?
