How Can I Identify the Bottleneck in My PC for Gaming?

Hey everyone! I built my PC a few years ago for studying and casual gaming, mostly playing games like Football Manager. My hardware isn't top-of-the-line; I have a Titan X GPU that I got from a friend who upgraded. Recently, I started playing Madden 25 with friends, but the game lags terribly, even when I set the graphics to the lowest possible settings. I've checked the game's requirements and thought my setup should handle it, but it clearly isn't working well. Here's what I've got:
Mainboard: MSI MPG X570 Gaming Plus
CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 3400G
GPU: NVIDIA GeForce GTX Titan X
RAM: 16 GB
700W Power Supply
I want to avoid spending too much, so I'm looking for cost-effective upgrades. I'm okay with running games at low or medium settings as long as they run smoothly. During gameplay, my CPU and RAM hit around 80% usage in Task Manager, so I'm wondering if that's the culprit. Any advice would be appreciated!

The Titan X is decent for 1440p gaming, but it sounds like your CPU might be holding things back. Consider upgrading to an R5 5600 or 5600X; they're not too expensive at around $110 to $130 and can offer a significant boost in performance with more cores and better per-core processing. Also, don’t forget to enable XMP/DOCP on your RAM to get the best out of it!

What resolution are you playing at? That could really influence performance. If it’s 1440p, the Titan X should still manage low to medium settings pretty well, but your CPU could be the bigger issue here.

I'm running at 2560 x 1440 and 144 Hz.
