Hey everyone! I recently upgraded my PC and am trying to figure out if my fan setup is creating too much negative pressure. Here are my specs:
- CPU: Ryzen 7 9800X3D
- Motherboard: Asus ROG Strix B650E-E Gaming Wifi
- RAM: 32 GB DDR5 (2x16)
- GPU: MSI Suprim 3080
- AIO: Arctic Freezer III 360
- Case: O11 Dynamic XL
I have three Corsair QL120 fans for exhaust at the top on the AIO, and the same fans as intake on the bottom. I also use three LL120 fans for exhaust on the side panel and one LL120 for rear exhaust. The LL120s are set to 400 RPM mainly for aesthetics.
While gaming in Tarkov, my CPU reached 88°C, which seems high for this cooler. I'm wondering if the QL fans on the radiator are the issue or if my overall pressure balance is off. Should I consider switching the radiator fans to something like Noctuas? Here's a photo of my setup: https://imgur.com/a/VjhVNOt

What are your idle temps? Also, have you thought about setting the intake fans to around 60% RPM? That might help balance things out.
Honestly, I think your setup sounds fine. Tarkov is really demanding on the CPU, and 88°C isn't alarming. Negative pressure is also not a big deal, but you could try more aggressive fan curves if you want.
You might want to consider sticking with the Arctic P120s that originally come with the AIO. Also, make sure you checked the coldplate on the AIO - was the sticker removed?
Your temps look about right to me! But I get it, I've noticed others with the same CPU are hitting around 60°C while gaming. I'm thinking of swapping my QL120s on the radiator for Noctua NF A12x25s too.
