I recently built my first proper PC, moving from a basic Optiplex setup to a CoolerMaster Q300L case with mATX. However, I'm facing an issue where my PC occasionally overheats under load, causing it to restart. I'm suspecting that this might be due to my GPU overheating. I've tried several things like rearranging the fans and cranking their speeds up, but the problem persists. I'm contemplating upgrading my case to the Asus AP201 for better airflow.
Here's my current build: B650M-PLUS WiFi, 32GB DDR5 RAM, Ryzen 5 7500F CPU, AsRock Intel A750 GPU, ThermalTake Smart Series 600W PSU, CoolerMaster Q300L case, Thermalright Peerless Assassin 120 SE cooler, and Arctic 120mm fans. I'm looking for new case recommendations too, ideally something compact without RGB features.

Investing in good case fans can make a big difference. For instance, consider using two 140mm iceburg icegale fans in the front to bring in air, with a 120mm fan at the bottom blowing in, and additional fans on the back and top for exhaust. This setup creates positive pressure that helps with overall airflow.
First off, you might want to monitor your temperatures to determine if it’s really the GPU that’s causing the restarts. Try using a software tool to check both GPU and CPU temperatures while under load. If the CPU is overheating, a reapplication of thermal paste might help.
Your case might be fine, but you could benefit from adding a couple of front fans for better airflow. Also, watch your CPU temperatures—they could be driven up by bad thermal paste or mounting issues with your cooler.

I totally get that! I was using HWiNFO too, but it overwhelmed me with data. I just want an easy tool that gives me clear warnings when I'm hitting high temps.
