I've recently switched to using Claude Code after spending months with Cursor, and I've realized that crafting effective prompts is crucial. I'm looking for resources or strategies to enhance my prompting skills. How do you guys approach this?

Whenever I notice Claude isn’t performing well, I ask him to update the Claude.md for better context, which he often improves. It really helps me understand how to better prompt him in the future. Also, reviewing past prompts can be insightful!
Make sure your Claude.md is tidy! I copied the entire 68-page Google prompting guide into Gemini, and then asked it to create a task-specific prompt based on those principles. It’s been super helpful! I keep those prompts saved in my commands directory for easy access. When Claude makes the same mistakes, I use the # shortcut so he remembers not to do it again!
I have so much to learn! Thanks! This is exciting.
I think Claude's official manual on prompting is the best resource out there. It really breaks down the essentials.
Wow this is good advice, thanks!
