I've got a 1GB internet connection at home, but my modem and router are stuck in my home office, which is at the far end of the house. I use Ethernet to connect my work computer and get fantastic speeds there. However, in other rooms, the speeds drop to between 1 and 300 Mbps at best. I've ruled out running cables all over the house and have already tried using WiFi extenders, but they didn't work as expected. I suspect my walls might be causing the signal loss, but I don't know how to address that myself. Any suggestions for boosting my WiFi signal beyond the office?

If extenders aren't working for you, have you considered powerline adapters? They use your home's electrical wiring to transmit the internet signal. Just be sure your electrical system is compatible before you buy them!
When you mention you've tried extenders, can you elaborate on what you did? You might want to consider a mesh network, as those can provide better coverage compared to standard extenders. They work by using multiple nodes to spread the signal more evenly across your home.
What kind of router are you using? Knowing the model can help others provide more tailored advice. Sometimes, just upgrading your router can significantly improve your coverage!
