I've purchased and registered the PC Study Bible from Biblesoft, but the company has gone out of business. Now, I can't install the software because it needs confirmation from their server, which is no longer operational. I'm not experienced enough with programming to create a workaround or crack. Does anyone have ideas or suggestions besides just accepting that it's unusable?

It's pretty tough to build a crack or any workaround for this kind of situation. We would need to know exactly how the software communicated with the server for activation. If it was using any encrypted exchange, trying to bypass that would be complicated, and unless the rights were transferred to another company, you might be stuck.
If the company is truly out of business, you might be out of luck with directly activating it. Your options are very limited; you could look for third-party solutions, but most likely, you won't be able to access the software unless you find a way to spoof the activation server somehow.
