How Can I Keep Learning New Tech Without Forgetting What I Already Know?

I'm really struggling with keeping up in the tech field, especially as a front-end/UI developer. Job postings keep asking for more skills, and when I spend time learning a new technology, I feel like I end up forgetting things I already knew. How can I effectively learn new technologies without losing track of what I've mastered?

The real depth of knowledge comes from regular use. Try to code with a new technology daily or at least a couple of times a week, and it will start to stick.

Just focus on what’s most relevant to your current project. Learn what you need for now, and you can figure out the rest later.

Focusing on the concepts instead of just memorizing syntax is key. With all the AI tools available now, it's even more important to understand when and why to apply certain techniques.

Honestly, I still find myself Googling basics sometimes. It's not about remembering every detail but knowing how to approach solving problems with the tech.

Always be building! By regularly working on projects, you can reinforce what you already know while gradually adding new technologies. Remember, it’s totally normal to forget things now and then.

I keep my knowledge stored in helpful resources like MDN. It's more about knowing what to look for instead of memorizing everything.
