I'm using Privileged Identity Management (PIM) for accessing the Exchange Admin console, but my access is only set to last for four hours. Once that time is up, I have to close my browser and go through the re-elevation process all over again, which disrupts my work. Is there any way to extend my access time before it expires without having to stop what I'm doing?

If you find yourself frequently in the Exchange Admin Panel, it sounds like your PIM eligibility period is too short. You might want to consider extending it to nine hours instead. Start your elevation in the morning and you should be good to go!
You could also consider deactivating your session at the end of the workday, then request a new activation to start fresh the next day. That way, it becomes a smoother process at the beginning of your workday.
