Hey everyone! I have a bit of a newbie question. I currently have Windows 10 on my SATA SSD as my main drive, but I recently added a 1 TB M.2 SSD to my setup. I'm curious if I can install Windows 11 onto the M.2 SSD and then just change the boot drive in the BIOS to the M.2 SSD so that my PC boots into Windows 11. There's really nothing important on my SATA SSD anymore, so I could wipe it and use it for games instead. Just trying to see if this plan sounds solid or if I'm missing something!

Yes, you can definitely do that! Just make sure to disconnect all drives except the new M.2 SSD while you're installing Windows 11. This prevents Windows from messing with the bootloader and keeps it clean on the new drive.
If you don't mind wiping the SATA drive, do that first. Then reboot and choose the NVMe drive to install Windows 11 on. This way, you avoid any chance of creating a dual boot setup that would complicate things.
It’s a good idea to create Windows 11 installation media first. Reboot your PC, boot from the install media, and you can delete all partitions on your SATA drive if you want. Then shut down, unplug the SATA drive, and install Windows 11 on the NVMe. Once that's done, plug your SATA back in, and you should be all set!
