I have a bulky Acer PC that heats up my room significantly while I'm gaming. After about 30 minutes, it feels like a sauna in here! My air conditioning isn't helping much since the thermostat is in another room. In winter, I could just open a window, but it's summer now. I'm considering getting a standalone AC unit that can vent through my door, as my window isn't suitable for any unit. I'm looking for any suggestions or different solutions you might have. Thanks!

The best real solution here is to decentralize. If you can’t move the hot air out efficiently, moving your PC to another room is a great option.
Using a box fan can really help circulate the air in and out of your room. Also, if your PC can handle it, try to optimize your components for better cooling. AC that vents out your door may not work as well, though. Do your windows really not open at all? There are some window units that have flexible hoses that can fit into slightly open windows.
I could try a box fan, but I usually keep the door shut. My PC needs to perform at its best for non-gaming tasks too, so I'm looking to maintain performance. I've thought about crafting a custom exhaust for my AC to fit under the door crack, but I'm not sure how practical that would be. My window has a casement design that opens outward with hinges, so I'm not certain if that type of unit would fit.
