Hey everyone! I built my PC about 6 years back with some help, and I just tried to enable Secure Boot, but I discovered that it's not possible on my current setup. I'm not sure if I did something wrong or if there's a specific way to make my build Secure Boot capable. Here are my specs: Processor: AMD Ryzen 7 3800x (8-Core), RAM: 32GB, Graphics Card: GTX 1660 Ti (6GB), Storage: 3TB. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

To get Secure Boot working, you actually can do it if your hardware supports it! If you're already running in UEFI mode, just hop into your BIOS settings and enable Secure Boot there. However, if you're in Legacy or CSM mode, you'll need to switch to UEFI. After that, you might have to reformat your boot drive and reinstall Windows to get everything working properly. Just a heads up, back up all your data before you make any changes, as this process can potentially wipe things out.
I've seen quite a few people try to enable Secure Boot and end up causing serious issues, even trashing their installations or hardware. If it's just for gaming, maybe consider waiting for the console version of BF6 or another game instead. It might save you from regrets later!
I tried enabling Secure Boot, and my PC wouldn’t boot until I reset the CMOS battery. I get the need for Secure Boot with Windows 11 coming, but just be careful. Take it step by step and make sure everything's backed up!
