Hey everyone! I'm currently running Windows 10 on my HDD, but I've got an SSD ready to go and I'd like to install Windows 11 on it. I've hit a snag because to install Windows 11, I need to enable secure boot. My BIOS is set to legacy and my HDD is using MBR, which I believe is preventing me from activating secure boot. (The SSD is already set to GPT.) Does anyone have any tips on how to move forward with this?

The easiest method is to do a clean install of Windows 11 directly on the new SSD. After that, you can connect your old HDD as a secondary drive to transfer any files you need. Just make sure to boot into your BIOS and update it if necessary, then enable TPM 2.0, switch to UEFI, and turn on secure boot before installing Windows 11. It saves you from the hassle of cloning and dealing with boot issues.
