I'm having a frustrating issue where I can't use my mouse on my top monitor, which means I can't access the settings to adjust my display preferences. I need to find a way to force an application to open on my bottom monitor without navigating through the settings. The app always opens on the screen where I'm having issues, and I can't figure out how to change it. Has anyone experienced something like this? I'm at a loss and can't find any specific solutions online.

Have you tried unplugging the monitor that’s causing the issue? It might be a quick fix!
That sounds really frustrating! Sometimes, logging out and logging back in can help reset things. It might also be that your monitor layout doesn’t match the physical setup. Move your cursor around the edges of the working screen—does it ever jump over to the other monitor?
If you need to get the app on the other monitor, you can open it, then hold down the Shift key and right-click the app icon in the taskbar. Select 'Move,' and you can use your arrow keys to shift it to the other monitor.
Update: I managed to solve the problem! Turns out my computer was set up with the second monitor on the right, but it’s actually above. I kept trying to move the mouse to the top edge and couldn't figure out why it wouldn't cross over. When I finally moved it to the right, it jumped to the top monitor! I was able to fix the settings afterward.
