How Can I Preserve My Data When Upgrading My CPU?

I've recently faced some challenges with my CPU where my PC wouldn't stay powered on for more than thirty seconds. After discussing this with a friend, it seems to be a CPU problem. While I was already in the market for a new CPU, I ended up replacing my Intel processor with an AMD one, which meant switching motherboards as well. I'm now wondering how to keep all my data intact on my hard drive. I have a custom FNV Modlist that I'd prefer not to recreate, so any advice would be greatly appreciated. I'm sticking with the same GPU, and both motherboards are from Gigabyte, so I'm hoping this will simplify things.

As long as you’re talking about your hard drive, you should be fine! Just plug it into your new motherboard, and everything should be straightforward. Don't worry too much; it sounds like you're ready for the upgrade.

That’s good to hear! Just to clarify, it's a 1TB SSD, and I had my OS and drivers installed on it. This is my first time dealing with hardware upgrades.
