I'm just starting my journey in DevOps as a junior engineer and will be focusing on GitHub Enterprise (GHE) administration, CI/CD workflows, and eventually diving into Kubernetes. I'm shifting careers and have completed a course on cloud and DevOps. I'm looking for suggestions on how to quickly develop the skills necessary for a Linux sysadmin role. Are there any certifications or exams you recommend? Also, I'm curious about useful courses available on Udemy. Once I feel confident, I plan to get a KodeKloud subscription to deepen my knowledge, especially with Kubernetes. Keep in mind, I'll be working in a secure, air-gapped environment.

Check out this DevOps roadmap; it's super helpful for laying out the skills and learning paths you need.
Make sure to get comfortable with vim—it's a great text editor. Also, read 'Vim at the Speed of Thought' and the Linux System Administration Handbook for more insights.
I've been using vim but need to learn how to navigate better. I'll definitely look for that handbook!
It's great to hear you're running Linux at home! Keep practicing those commands—it's the best way to get familiar with the system.
I've been doing that for about a year now, so I'm pretty comfortable with the basics.

That has been very helpful!
