I made a huge mistake and accidentally deleted my SSD drive that contained over 1TB of data. I'm not sure how I did it, but now I'm desperate to recover both the drive and the data. What steps can I take to get it back?

Did you delete the whole drive or just format it? Make sure to disconnect the drive and don't use it before you try recovery. If you just deleted files, recovery might be easier. You've got some good software options like Disk Drill, Recuva, and TestDisk. Just remember, you need to recover the files to a different drive than the one you're trying to get data from.
First off, don't write anything to the SSD! The less you mess with it, the better your chances of recovery. I've had great luck with EaseUS Data Recovery Wizard. It's not the cheapest option (around $150 for the full lifetime upgrade), but it's been able to recover so much for me. Just make sure you have another drive ready to save all the recovered files, as you can't save them back to the same SSD you're restoring from.
You can definitely try some recovery software like EaseUS, Disk Drill, or even Recuva. Just a heads up: you should really use a different drive or USB stick to store the recovered files, not the same SSD. If you don’t have another drive, you’ll need to pick one up before running the recovery.
