I recently found out that nearly 500 Safari tabs I had opened disappeared after I exceeded the tab limit by using the 'open link in new tab' feature. When I checked today, I noticed hundreds of those tabs were gone, and I'm at a loss on how to get them back. The plus button only shows the most recent 200 tabs, and I'm not sure when the others were closed. Some people suggested it might be due to running out of storage, but I still have about 24GB free on my phone. Is there any way to restore my lost tabs?

I'm sorry to hear about your lost tabs. It’s rough! Just remember that those tabs are probably in a better place now. Accepting the loss can be tough, but you can always bookmark sites moving forward!
It sounds like a frustrating situation! But here's the deal: tabs shouldn’t be treated as a way to store your favorite sites. If there are specific pages you're going back to, I recommend bookmarking them instead. That way, you won’t run into this issue in the future.
Honestly, there's not much you can do to recover those missing tabs. Tabs are not meant for long-term storage. Try checking your browser history, though! The links you visited should still be there. For the future, consider using bookmarks for sites you want to keep track of, or make use of the reading list for things you want to come back to later.
