How can I reflash the BIOS on my Surface Laptop 4 using a USB stick?

I've been having issues with my Surface Laptop 4 (model 1980) since doing a firmware update. It gets stuck on the Windows logo screen, and after trying several troubleshooting methods, I suspect that the BIOS might be corrupted. I'm looking for guidance on how to create a USB stick to reflash the correct BIOS version. Any tips would be really appreciated!

Usually, BIOS corruption isn't the problem. It’s rare, and instead, it could be something else. A corrupted update can lead to a failure to POST, which is what might be causing your issue.

I’ve heard conflicting views on this! A lot of people I spoke to seem to think the BIOS update is where things went south for me. If it’s not that, what do you suggest I check next?
