I accidentally deleted everything while trying to install Arch Linux, and now my laptop only boots to the BIOS. I can't access the boot menu either. I have another laptop to borrow and I've connected an external SSD, but it doesn't appear in the boot options. I really need to get this sorted out because I have a deadline in 6 days before my parents return. My laptop model is MSI Modern 15A11MU, Model M-1552, and I'm trying to install Windows 11. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Just a reminder that tinkering with BIOS and disk setups can potentially lead to data loss. Always make sure you back up any important data before making changes! If you're unsure, there are many FAQ threads you can check for guidance.
If you're stuck getting your USB to show up, it might be worth checking if the USB is formatted correctly and recognized by the BIOS settings. Sometimes, certain boot modes like UEFI or Legacy can affect whether your USB is detected. You might need to toggle those in the BIOS settings.
You'll need a USB drive with an operating system installer on it. For Windows, Microsoft's official guide is your best bet: just follow the steps to create installation media from their website. If you're looking at a Linux flavor instead, download the ISO and use a tool like Rufus to write it onto the USB. That should get you moving again!

But what if my system doesn't see the USB? I've tried pressing F11 to access the boot menu but no luck.
