How can I remove a browser hijacker from Firefox without any suspicious extensions?

I've recently encountered a browser hijacker that prevents me from accessing the Foundry tabletop website, but I'm not sure how it got there. I use Firefox and have only installed two extensions: uBlock and Privacy Badger. I've turned off all AI assistance and haven't installed anything suspicious. It's strange because I haven't experienced this issue on any other sites, but it keeps redirecting me to 'safebrowse.io.' The online guides suggest removing the hijacking extension, but there isn't any extension I can find that's causing the trouble. I'm considering using something like LMD, but I struggle with terminal commands beyond the basics. What steps can I take to resolve this?

Hey! It sounds like a tricky situation with that hijacker. First off, can you confirm if it's happening only on that one site? Sometimes websites can have temporary issues, especially smaller ones like Foundry. But since you mentioned it redirects to 'safebrowse.io,' that’s definitely concerning. It might be a good idea to check your security settings and try to reset Firefox completely to see if that clears things up.

I haven’t had issues on other sites, but I mostly visit a few select ones. Definitely not just a loading issue; it's blocking me real good.
