I'm really tired of the constant Teams Premium notifications and buttons popping up in the Teams app. Does anyone have a strategy for getting rid of these annoyances? I'm not considering switching to another service like Slack at this point, so I'm hoping there are solutions without leaving the platform. Thanks in advance!

I've never encountered those notifications in my E5 environment. I think it might be because we have Trials turned off in the Organization Settings. Maybe check if that’s an option for you too!
You can turn off self-service trials by heading to the M365 admin center. Just go to Settings > Org Settings > Self-service trial and purchases, and you should be able to disable it there.
We dealt with those annoying prompts too, and had to disable them in our Tenant setup. It was a bit of a hassle, but necessary.
Microsoft told us there’s no option to fully disable the notifications. They suggested turning off trial access for users, but the button stays there unfortunately.
We just recently had to fix this. A global admin account is needed to navigate to the right settings in the 365 admin panel. Once you disable it, it usually takes around 24 hours to see the changes take effect, but it worked for us!

We’re also on E5, but I’ve definitely seen the notifications on some systems. They pop up right next to the ellipses and are pretty distracting since they take over that space.
